I am usually happy to wait for trainers, especially for trainers that I will be running in. Check out the competition (although I’ll always go with Nike), making sure they are the correct type of shoe for my running style, fill up the pound pot and, of course, they have to look fresh. However, these trainers are taking weeks/months to hit the shelves in the UK! Nike have even brought out a video to accompany these revolutionary trainers…

So we all heard about the demise of Jehst and the postman rumours. He has replied to the revelations with a new track and I actually like it. I went off of Jehst when he turned in to an arrogant dick and thought he was better than he was. Then he became a postman due to putting out weak tracks. I’m hoping on the evidence of this track that the experience has humbled him to a degree and his music will be as good as it used to be. I also don’t have to release my smear campaign that I was plotting whilst bored at work – Jehst is my takeaway delivery man, Jehst is my bin man, Jehst is my milk man, Jehst is my Jehova’s witness and so on…

Gwilym Davies has just opened a new coffee venture in London – Prufrock Café. They do taster sessions on Sundays and have all kinds of coffee contraptions. Definitely worth a visit for any coffee fiends. Will it rival my favourite Monmouth?

This weeks beat of the week was inspired by a lovely lunch spent napping in Green Park and is also dedicated to Danny Fresh because I know how much he loves this track.
