I am usually happy to wait for trainers, especially for trainers that I will be running in. Check out the competition (although I’ll always go with Nike), making sure they are the correct type of shoe for my running style, fill up the pound pot and, of course, they have to look fresh. However, these trainers are taking weeks/months to hit the shelves in the UK! Nike have even brought out a video to accompany these revolutionary trainers…

Just when I thought that I just had to wait 2-3 weeks for the release of the NIke Free Run+2 to solve my running trainer problems Nike go and release the Nike Lunar Flow! Better keep adding to that pound pot…

Nike Free Run 1 or +2…

I’ve been contemplating getting a new pair of trainers for jogging. Did some research and discovered that I’m a slight overpronator. Just as I decide on the Nike Free Runs they go and release the sequel – Free Run+2. I think I prefer the +2’s. Hopefully the +2’s will have some colourways that blow the old versions out of the water. I’ve got until April to decide so there’s no panic. via

Wooden iPhone that wooden work

If I had an iPhone I would want to keep it looking fresh. I like the idea of this veneer sticker from KILLSPENCER but day-to-day use I think it would look a bit stupid. For $20 I would give it a go. They’ve also got some iPad 2 cases out for all you tablet suckas. Jacked from here.

I read a fair few magazines these days and it was only until I bought issue 1 of Port that I realised that there was a gap in the market for a good mens magazine. Great contributors – especially Fergus Henderson and Jon Snow, good content and lovely design. The free iPad app version is also excellently designed with a vast amount of simple navigation features making it a pleasure to read on the stupid tablets.

Foot Patrol

Around 10 years ago Foot Patrol was killing it with the trainer selection. Then trainers became even more collectible and every chump was on it. Then I felt Foot Patrol’s selection became a bit diluted and the store eventually closed. Now it is back in full effect (sometime this month) at a new location on Berwick Street.
